INCREASED RISK IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF ECONOMY. Vladimir Leonov, Director General BCVG: In connection with the growing deficit and a dramatic rise in prices for agricultural products, the group BCVG urges banks to tighten control in pledge of agricultural products in warehouses, tanks and silos. Is particularly true of agricultural products, which is stored in bulk. In keeping with many years of practice, we anticipate growth of abuses of agricultural products in warehouses, tanks and silos, due to the fact that the bulk (liquid) goods (assets) are more difficult to account. Strengthening control of collateral can be expressed in a significant increase in the density (frequency) inspections, or translated from periodical to a daily or permanent (8 hours per day) control. |
